In just three days, Forster Group transformed this detached 4 bedroom home’s energy system from a traditional  system to solar power.

In October 2023, the owners of this home approached Forster Group with the intentions to invest in solar panels and this decision was driven by a combination of factors. With average electricity usage, occasional electric car charging, and an eye on future retirement, they saw an opportunity to offset increasing energy prices and take advantage of flexible tariffs, such as cheap overnight electricity.

Following discussions with Forster Groups Design Engineers, the client who was opting for a forward-thinking approach chose a 13-panel (405 Wp) integrated roof-mounted system with a battery. The integration seamlessly blended the solar panels with the existing structure, maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the property. With this system, the client is expected to generate 3770kWh a year and save 85% on their electricity bills. Out of this energy generation, the client is expected to capture and use 3400kWh.
