About Forster Roofing

Forster Roofing is an award-winning roofing and roof-integrated solar contractor. Covering one in five of Scotland’s new homes we have been leading best practice in pitched roofing since 1990.

We also provide a full Principal Contractor service on roof renewal/solar projects for local authorities, registered social landlords and commercial businesses. We have an exemplary track record of managing projects on time and within budget, particularly on sensitive, occupied housing schemes and public and commercial buildings, including multiple schools and a shopping arcade.

In addition we have successfully delivered roof conservation and integrated solar projects on historically significant buildings including a renovated castle, church and a cricket pavilion.

Our innovative, integrated roof-and-solar projects have been recieved many accolades and awards over the decades by the National Federation Roofing Contractors, Homes for Scotland, National House Building Council (NHBC).

Our active participation as part of the Board at the Construction Innovation Centre and Construction Inductry Training Board in additional to our long standing administration of the Scottish House Builders Health and Safety Forum and Angus Construction Training group, are just a few examples of how the team at Forster positively contribute to raising and promoting higher standards across the industry.

Our influence is further highlighted through the development of our own pioneering Skills Academy creating an industry specific talent pipelines into the sector and our business.
