Since 2015, Forster Group Skills Academy has been addressing one of the construction industry’s biggest challenges; the skills gap.

As the sector faces increasing demands for quality, innovation and sustainability, we recognise that closing this gap requires more than just training. It requires leadership, structure and a commitment to setting new standards. The Skills Academy provides a clear pathway into the industry, helping shape a future skilled and confident workforce ready to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving industry.

To date, we have supported over 100 new entrants through our structured, accredited training programmes, creating a new generation of professionals across Scotland. We ensure that our entrants are not only equipped with practical skills, but also with strong foundations in health and safety, industry knowledge and professional conduct, all areas critical to long term success.
